PROTECT-CHILD at the Privacy Symposium
Partners of the PROTECT-CHILD project recently presented at the Privacy Symposium 2025!
From 12 to 16 May 2025, project partners UDG Alliance (UDGA), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and MultiMed Engineers (MME) attended the Privacy Symposium conference in Venice, Italy. The event provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the PROTECT-CHILD project and its ongoing activities.
During the symposium, UPM presented an overview of the project in the session dedicated to Digital Health. MME contributed to the panel discussion on the European Health Data Space (EHDS), sharing the project’s perspective on the regulation. UDGA contributed to sharing perspectives during a panel on Ensuring Data Subjects’ Rights in Practice, and throughout the conference, actively engaged with attendees by distributing project materials and information from its dedicated booth in the exhibition area.
The Privacy Symposium provided a dedicated track on health and medical data compliance, with an ambition to promote international dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge-sharing on data governance, regulatory compliance, and innovative technologies.
